VICTORY AND AUTUMN CROWN FOR FC BUDUĆNOST

In the 19th round of the domestic championship, Buducnost defeated OFK Mladost at the DG Arena with 3:1, retained the first place with two points more than the closest follower, and at the end of the first part of the season crossed the finish line as the leader.

The “Blues” won OFK Mladost after a turnaround with goals from Vasilij Adžić in the 25th minute, Miloš Brnović at the end of the first half and Balša Sekulić at the very end of the game.

Mladost scored in the 7th minute and that was all Podgorica did in 90 minutes.

“First of all, I would like to congratulate the players for their commitment and fight for the entire time we spent together during the fall, and especially for today when they burned out on a difficult court.

For all 90 minutes, we tried to play football in those conditions, sometimes we succeeded better, sometimes a little worse, but I think the victory was fully deserved,” said head of the coaching staff Mladen Milinković after the game.

“Honestly, we were afraid of Mladost, we knew that they had robbed us in the previous two duels, and certainly if we had those five points more – it would be easier for us in the spring.

We deservedly celebrated, we were better than the opponent in both the first and second half, after all – football is played for goals, and scoring three goals on a difficult pitch is not easy.
