The head of the professional staff of FC “Igalo” Sreten Avramović conducted a “roll call” at Solili today, and the players immediately started working, both in the gym and on the field.
In the transition period, which started today and lasts until February 14, the following have left the Herzegovinian second division team: Stefan Kulinović (still without a club), Drago Bumbar and Nemanja Petović (“Bokelj”), Stefan Vico (“Otrant Olimpik”), Milovan Ilić , Bojan Bigović, Nikola Mitrović, Uroš and Andrija Vujičić (still without a club).
In “Igalo” arrived: Boško and Vuk Matejić from “Petrovec”, Jovan Popović and Miloš Perović from “Mladosta” LJeškopolje, (all on loan), then Spaniard Raul Perira (“Jezero”), Danjuma Kutinga (Nigeria), Marko Marković (“Zlatibor”) and Nikola Bošković (“Orjen”).
The players and coaching staff were greeted by the club’s president Zoran Krivokapić and sports director Nedeljko Marković, who promised to properly settle their obligations for work and the performance expected from them in, as things stand, a convulsive fight for survival.
The professional staff started to implement their ideas from the first working day, and coach Sreten Avramović believes in survival in the Second League.
– We all wanted to work, I think the break was long enough. It was felt that the elan and will were at the right level from the first training, and that makes me happy. “Igalo” enters the spring part of the championship with a big deficit, but everyone in the club believes that our goal, which is survival in the Second League, is not unattainable.
